- The program will now find the location of your printer, if it's on the same computer as the CD jewel case designs for which it's making labels (though I'm not sure how reliable that location finding is).
- Now allows you to specify the label size you want (and any other label format options you may need). You can decide to keep the default settings, or change the settings to your liking. If you decide not to customize the label size, the label size will stay at the default settings.
The program can make a booklet (a series of labels sewn together with a paper backing) or a CD case (a series of labels sewn together with a plastic backing). It will require some experience to get the hang of using the program, but once you figure it out, it's really fun to use. Also, Donda seems to like it quite a bit. It's probably a bit of a time-sink, though.
- In the printer list in the program you'll now see a column for the maximum paper size you'll allow. This one's a new feature, so don't show it on your first print job, unless you like doing manual paper size changes, and unless you have a really old printer that can't handle paper sizes larger than A4 (5.5 x 8.5) or else will just spew garbage when you print from a CD. I'm not sure when I created this feature, but I added it in 0.9.1.
- The program can now export your finished labels as a bmp file. This is the same file format as WinPrint does. So you should be able to import the file into WinPrint to print your labels. To save disk space, labels with very small print sizes are now stored compressed in bmp format. This also means that the labels don't need to be saved in the backgrounds directory any more. They can just be put in the documents directory. The program will automatically convert them for you if you import them, though.
